I first saw Arthur Darvill in the Doctor Who Prom, and I didn’t know about stage doors, so I didn’t know I could have the change to meet him.
In 2011, Arthur was in Doctor Faustus, and I saw it, with my cousin. It was amazing, and afterwards we waited around to get a photo with him. He went into the pub in the Globe theatre, and we could see him but we couldn’t get back into the pub, so we decided to wait for him to come out. Time past, and he didn’t leave, and we had a takeaway pizza while we waited, and watched him from afar. We didn’t get to meet him.
We then saw something else in the Globe, and his play was on after, so we waited for him to arrive and go to his play. We didn’t see him arrive, and I guess we spent about eight hours in total waiting for him (over both days, but I’m totally making this number up).
Today, the day after my twentieth birthday, I got to meet him. He signed my ticket, my friends programme (which I was holding) and I got a picture with him. He didn’t believe it was my birthday, but I am so happy right now. I feel I earned that picture.
Thank you, stranger :D

Also, my parents have the best taste in wrapping paper. Where did they even get it? It’s series 2 stuff.
It’s my birthday! Twenty years of awesome!
Stupidly excited about this
I’ve taken out my presents from my mum, and left them at the bottom of my bed. I don’t seem to appreciate that my birthday isn’t Christmas.
I don’t understand where you are, but it’s my birthday in 57 minutes
Happy Birthday to you too!! I do, but I don’t really know them… Have a great day
Is today your birthday? Congratulations on being common!
Wait, that came out all wrong. I mean congrats on having parents who enjoyed New Year’s Eve!
